Private music lessons are offered to all ages for one-on-one tutoring and instruction. It is never too late to get started! (A limited number of in-home lessons are also currently available.)
Guitar Lessons (All ages)
All styles of music are available. Age six and up can be accommodated with down-sized guitars. See instructor for assistance. Private Guitar Lessons are currently available in studio or in the convenience of your own home.
Instrumental Music Lessons (All ages)
Private music lessons are offered in Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, Percussion, Violin, Viola, Cello, String Bass, Bass Guitar, Keyboard, Piano, Composition, Ukulele, Guitar.
Voice Lessons (Ages 7+)
Private voice lessons are offered focusing on the individual needs and desires of the student. Vocal technique and expression are utilized toward the style(s) that is chosen. Accompaniment in the lesson is included free with the price of lessons.
In-Home Lessons (All ages)
Lessons in the comfort of your own home are currently offered on the following instruments: Violin, Viola, Voice, Keyboard, Piano, Bass Guitar, and Guitar. Many cities available including Novi, Walled Lake, Commerce, Milford, Northville, Sterling Heights, Madison Heights, Brighton, Ann Arbor, Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg, Wixom, West Bloomfield, South Lyon.

MULTI-LINGUAL INSTRUCTION
Our instructors are available in many languages. Tutoring is available in Chinese, Spanish, Arabic, French, Korean and English.

Advanced Guitar Class (Age 12 and up)
This course is for those who have experience playing guitar and want to further their knowledge of the instrument in a group setting. Based on the overall skill level of the class, students will learn music theory, sight reading and basic improvising techniques, all taught through actual playing experience. These classes are meant to be a fun and engaging way for experienced players to gain new skills and meet other players in the process. Bring your own guitar, small amp (if playing electric guitar) and music stand.
Basic Composition (All Ages)
This course is for all musicians who wish to develop a more thorough understanding of fundamental composition. Throughout this class students will compose multiple pieces and have them performed live in class. Each student is required to play an instrument and have basic reading skills. They will read music, as needed, for other students new compositions. This provides the class with the opportunity to listen to the pieces that they compose and get gentle critics from the rest of the class. Basic music theory will be covered in class in addition to analyzing and listening to musical examples. All students will be provided with course material but are required to bring staff paper and their instrument to every session.
Discovery Music Classes (4 & 5 year olds)
Group Classes in the Discovery of the Elements of Music. This class is all about enjoying music in a group setting while learning some basics and encouraging brain and sensorimotor development.
Discovery Music Classes (Grades 1 thru 6)
Group Classes in the deeper Discovery of the elements of music, basic music notation, music history, listening and ear training, composition and some singing. This class is about enjoying music in a group setting while gaining lots of understanding at the same time!
Drum Classes- Hand Drum (Grades 3 thru 8)
Students will learn how to make their own hand drum, read basic music notation, establish a beat,
play drums in a group or "drum circle" and have lots of fun drumming! Drum circles are fun and exciting and now you can learn how to play in one proficiently.

This course is for those who have little or no experience playing guitar. Students will learn to read music while learning to play the guitar. Bring your own guitar and music stand. Studying with others gives the advantage of learning how to play in a group.
Guitar for Older Beginner Classes (Ages 15+)
This course is for those who have little or no experience playing guitar. Students will learn to read music while learning to play the guitar. Bring your own guitar and music stand. Studying with others gives the advantage of learning how to play in a group. Due to the age level of the class, this class moves at a much faster pace than our Guitar Class.
Jazz Guitar Ensemble (All Ages)
This course is for guitarists who want to work on their sight reading and improvising while being part of an ensemble. Students will sight read new musical pieces every week and every student gets the opportunity to solo over the form and play the chords during every song that we play in class. Depending on the overall skill level of the class, the music selection can range in difficulty and all students will be challenged and encouraged in equal parts. Some class time will be devoted each week to working on improvising techniques and over all musicianship. This group is open to as many guitarists as are interested as well as to a rhythm section consisting of Bass Guitar, Piano and Drums. Basic music reading skills and improvising techniques are necessary for enrollment. However the class will cover such topics in more detail as part of the curriculum. All students bring your instrument, small amp (if necessary) and music stand.
The Joy of Singing (Grades 3-7)
Enjoy the fun and camaraderie of singing with others. Students learn basic vocal technique while learning to sing patriotic, pop, and folk songs. Recreational singing is becoming a lost art in our society today. Give your student the opportunity to revive this socially fun activity.
Keyboard Classes (Grades 1-6)
This course is for those who have little or no experience playing piano or keyboard. Students will learn to read music while learning to play the piano-keyboard. Bring your own keyboard and study with others, giving the additional advantage of learning how to play within a group.
Keyboard for Older Beginner Classes (Ages 15+)
This course is for those who have little or no experience playing keyboard. Students will learn to read music while learning to play the keyboard. Bring your own keyboard. Studying with others gives the advantage of learning how to play in a group. Due to the age level of this class, this class moves at a much faster pace than our Keyboard Class.

Preschool Piano Preparatory Classes (4 & 5 year olds)
Group Classes designed to prepare and verify readiness for piano or keyboard lessons. Studies have shown that preschoolers who took private keyboard instruction demonstrated a 46% boost in spatial IQ, compared to students who did not take lessons. Give your preschooler a headstart on intelligence by enrolling them in a tested and prepared keyboard curriculum. This class will teach the basics of reading music, playing the piano keyboard, singing and musical interaction. Parents must be able to spend 10 minutes a day practicing assignments at home with the child. Students are encouraged to enroll at least 2 semesters in order to obtain full benefit of the class. Student needs to provide keyboard. $45 supplies fee due first class.
Suzuki Violin Classes (Ages 4-6)
This course is for the very young student with little or no experience playing violin. Students will learn the basics of starting on the string instrument using fun and exciting activities geared to their age level. The students will have FUN, while at the same time, begin their musicianship and understanding of the violin at the young age of 4-5. (Instrument required- rental is available at extra cost). Starting at a very young age in music has been scientifically proven to give HUGE brain benefits!
String Classes (Ages 8-16)
This course is for those who have little or no experience playing violin, viola, cello, or string bass. Students will learn to read music while learning to play the strings. Bring your own instrument (instructor direction available) and music stand. Studying with others gives the advantage of learning how to play in a group.
Ukulele Classes (Age 8-14)
Ukulele is the hottest new FUN instrument to learn and play. Easily transportable and a unique sound that cant be beat, get started on your Hawaiian-influenced journey! This course is for those who have little or no experience playing the ukulele. Students will learn to read music while learning to play the ukulele. Bring your own instrument.
